Tri-C HUMATE is a concentrated mineral rich soil conditioner that's been composting for millions of years. Tri-C mines this product from freshwater, sand based leonardite deposits. It is then carefully milled and screened to perform as a hydroseeding additive.

All organics are not the same. It would take 100 cubic yards of compost aged for over a million years to get 200 lbs of Tri-C Humate. This long lasting stable humus is the foundation of healthy, fertile topsoil. Most subsoils need the Humate more than traditional N-P-K fertilizer because they typically have low cation-exchange capacity resulting in serious leaching loss.

IS

  • a mined compost of pre historic plants
  • what is missing in subsoil
  • a major component of all important organic matter that defines good top soil
  • what makes good top soil dark brown and able to hold moisture and fertilizer
  • a source of plant available nutrients, minerals and promotes the availability of them - Chelates.

This hydroseeded sub soil slope would have looked like the upper right corner if Tri-C Humate was added to the slurry – the plants ran out of fertilizer before they could do much erosion control.
