DSS 40 - Acrylic Copolymer
A SOIL STABILIZER FOR DUST AND EROSION CONTROL

What is DSS 40?

DSS 40 Acrylic Copolymer is a liquid soil stabilizer which prevents wind and water erosion by penetrating into the soil structure and bonding the soil particles together to minimize erosion potential. DSS 40 forms a plastic film upon drying that allows water and air to penetrate yet cements the soil particles together to create a tough layer of protection.

DSS 40 is a water emulsified binder composed primarily of latex acrylic-balanced copolymers-- which is blended with water and applied as a spray over exposed soil. It can be used alone as a protective layer against wind and water erosion or in combination with straw, fibers, and seed in hydroseeding applications. When applied at manufacturer's recommended application rates, DSS 40 is non-toxic to plant and animal life and non-staining on concrete and painted surfaces.
