It’s Show Time: Join S&S Seeds at Upcoming Industry Events

S&S Seeds is proud to once again participate in two of the biggest landscape industry shows of the year.

Environmental Connection, sponsored by the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) and billed as the world’s largest soil and water event, takes place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada, with more than 160 vendors, 20 full-day training courses and over 50 case studies and technical paper presentations. Registration opens at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, with exhibitor setup on February 12-13. From February 12-15, visitors can check out the Expo and partake of numerous technical courses, poster presentations, a Lake Tahoe Luncheon Cruise and much more. Scheduled for Friday, February 16 are CPESC and CPSWQ exams and a field tour of the Truckee River restoration. For exhibitor schedules, IECA committee meeting times and CPESC meeting information, go to the IECA Web site, www.ieca.org/schedule. The IECA is, according to its Web site, "the world’s oldest and largest association devoted entirely to helping members solve the problems caused by erosion and its byproduct—sediment. Founded in 1972, IECA is a nonprofit organization that serves as the premier global resource for the prevention and control of erosion."

We highly recommend that you attend the Environmental Connection Expo and be sure you visit S&S Seeds’ friendly employees in booth #549. The Expo is an excellent place to learn about the latest advances in erosion and sediment control products and technologies.

Next up is the 2007 Landscape Industry Show, sponsored by the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA). According to its Web site, "The California Landscape Contractors Association is a nonprofit trade organization of licensed landscape and landscape-related contractors. Also included among its approximately 3,200 members are landscape suppliers, landscape architects, public officials, educators, and students."

The theme of this year’s CLCA Landscape Industry Show is "It’s All You Need," and all you need will be found at the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall, Los Angeles, California on February 29 and March 1, 2007.

Classes include "Build it! Stormwater Pollution Control Strategies for the Landscape Contractor" and "Design it! Planting Panache: Creating Stylistic Planting Designs."

Over 300 exhibitors have signed up for the show, including S&S Seeds, whose staff members will be stationed at booth #1215. Exhibitors will be showcasing the best landscaping tools, products and vehicles available. You’ll also be able to check out plant materials, stone and rock, irrigation equipment, lighting, water features and everything else you need to build or grow a landscaping business.

For more information about the show, go to the Web site of the CLCA, http://www.clca.us/lis/schedule.html.
